Components in plastic injection molding
At present, the process of forming plastic products by injecting plastic into molds, such as producing cement buckets, cement mixing basins, cement trowels, cement trays, fruit baskets, seedling trays, rubber cups, plastic crates, plastic boxes, or various plastic products, such as car parts, electrical equipment parts, electric car charger parts, office equipment, construction equipment, ready-to-eat food packaging, and many more plastic parts, is of great interest to many people. There are more and more plastic factories, and there is buying and selling of both used and new plastic injection tools. Some buyers have worked in this field before, but some have never worked in this field before, so it takes quite a while to study.
Opening a plastic factory requires a fair amount of experience and expertise, especially for those who are new to injection molding. They will encounter many problems in the plastic injection factory because they have little knowledge of the methods and steps of plastic injection, as well as techniques and solutions to problems that arise. Most of them are in English. For this reason, those who want to work in a plastic factory must ask those who have experience and remember them. Some of them may not remember, which is a waste of time. Some people buy a plastic injection machine without knowing how it works or how to start. Our plastic factory has also experienced this problem before when we first opened a new plastic factory.
This article is an attempt by the plastic injection factory because many people have asked and do not understand the plastic injection process. This article is suitable for everyone who wants to study and gain knowledge about the plastic injection method. If there are any mistakes in this article, the factory apologizes and accepts them with full willingness.
1. Plastic injection components
1.1 Raw materials for plastic injection
The type and grade of plastic, such as recycled plastic pellets or new plastic pellets, are selected correctly and appropriately for the use in the workpiece. Are the plastic raw materials prepared appropriately? For example, is it necessary to dry the moisture out of the plastic pellets? If so, how long is the drying time? Use the appropriate temperature and time. What colors and additives are used? How should the plastic pellets be mixed with colors and additives to achieve the most appropriate results? The price of the raw materials should not be the main consideration, but rather what raw materials are required to be appropriate for the conditions of the plastic injection workpiece?
1.2 Plastic injection mold
There is a suitable design, such as the mold type must be 2 plates, 3 plates or others, the number of cavities, the cooling system inside the mold, the system for releasing and closing the workpiece, the position of the mold float, the size of the plastic water passage and the plastic water inlet, the ventilation of the mold, the selection of the correct metal materials for mold making, including the heat process (hardening) used to improve the quality of the mold.
1.3 Plastic injection machine
Select the correct size of the injection machine according to the size of the plastic workpiece, such as the size of the mold closing force, the amount of plastic and the injection pressure of the plastic injection machine must be sufficient for the size of the workpiece to be injected. The operating speed of the injection machine can achieve the desired Cycle Time. The injection pressure, injection speed and rebound pressure, which have many steps, can be adjusted to be suitable for the plastic workpiece for good quality.
